Michelle Bexelius
Michelle worked for nearly a decade as a creative architect, interface designer and usability engineer on behalf of high tech companies and then set out on her own to become a professional photographer and graphics designer. In 2006, she incorporated an eco-friendly printer into her design business which spawned a greater awareness of the environmental movement. A long advocate of conscious living - choosing local organic foods, alternative medicine and eco-friendly products, dark green is Ms. Bexelius’ favorite color. She continues to find and share with others new and innovative ways to promote a shift to living a more conscious, aware life but with a sense of style. Ms. Bexelius recently relocated one of the greenest cities - Portland, Oregon with her husband and two children.
Green tips: Read labels on everything from lipstick to sofas. Know your list of toxins and steer clear of them. Seek out products with minimal packaging. Say no to plastics. Bring your own reusable shopping bags. Eat locally and organic. Never stop dreaming of a greener, healthier world. Teach your kids to respect the earth as you do.
